Cross Country: Eight Teams, Eight Individuals Crowned State Champions
COLORADO SPRINGS – All eight team and all eight individual state champions were crowned Saturday at the 2023 Cross Country State Championships at Norris Penrose Event Center.

Gymnastics: Mountain Range, Palmer Ridge Win Mountain Range Regional
Mountain Range swept the top-four all-around finishers in Class 5A and Palmer Ridge claimed the top three all-around finishers in Class 4A to each win its respective Mountain Range Regional Championship Friday night at Mountain Range High School. Mountain Range topped the 5A leaderboard with a new team-high score of 184.825, while Palmer Ridge captured the 4A title with a team score of 183.525.

Field Hockey: Upsets Define Quarterfinals
AURORA – The quarterfinals of the Colorado High School Activities Association’s 2023 Field Hockey State Championship Tournament were completed Friday night. The winners will both advance to the semifinals, with teams competing Oct. 30 at Denver’s All-City Stadium. Semifinals tickets will be available for purchase. 2A Boys Soccer: Two of the Top Three Seeds Fall in the First Round
AURORA – The first round of the Colorado High School Activies Association’s 2023 2A Boys Soccer State Championship Tournament was completed Friday. The winners will advance to the quarterfinals. The quarterfinals will be hosted by the same schools that hosted the first round, with three of the four games being played tomorrow, while Bishop Machebeuf’s matchup with Loveland Classical will be played Monday.
