COLORADO SPRINGS – Holy Family head coach Marc Cowell was a bit difficult to find following the Tigers’ 13-6 triumph over Pueblo County. While the team members were frolicking in left field between congratulatory hugs, taking pictures, and hoisting the trophy, Cowell quietly slipped 30 or 40 meters away, identifiable only to those who already knew him. He was busily engaged in the kind of conversations with parents that rarely happen under normal circumstances.

The matchups for the final round of the 2024 Baseball State Championships for 2A, 3A, 4A and 5A are now set, with the championship game(s) being played tomorrow at four sites across the state.

The brackets for the Colorado High School Activities Association’s Baseball State Championships have been released. Tournament play began on Friday, May 24 and will run through the state championship games on June 1. Brackets, qualifiers and round-by-round results can be found here.

AURORA – The semifinals of the 2024 Baseball State Championships for 2A, 3A, 4A and 5A will take place today with the championship game(s) being played tomorrow and four sites across the state.

The final four teams have been determined for the Colorado High School Activities Association’s Baseball State Championships in each of the four classifications still competing; 2A, 3A, 4A and 5A.

The 2024 state baseball tournaments are in action this weekend. Bracket play is underway in classes 2A, 3A, 4A and 5A.
