Due to rain in Colorado Springs and Pueblo, the Colorado High School Activities Association has delayed the start of play for the second day of the 3A and 4A Girls Tennis Individual State Championships. The 5A tournament at Denver City Park in Denver is unaffected.
The first two rounds of the Colorado High School Activities Association’s Girls Tennis Individual State Championship Tournaments were completed Thursday at Denver City Park, Pueblo City Park and Memorial Park. The semifinal round will be played tomorrow with the finals set for Saturday. Play will begin at 9 a.m. on both days.

AURORA – With rain forecasted for the Colorado Springs area beginning Thursday afternoon and running through Friday, the Colorado High School Activities Association is making an adjustment to the schedule for the 3A Girls Tennis Individual State Championships scheduled for Thursday through Saturday at Memorial Park.
The quarterfinal round of the Girls Tennis Team State Championships has been completed with the top-four seeds advancing to the semifinals in all three classification brackets. The semifinal round matches will be played at the home site of the higher seed on Tuesday, May 7 with the championships set for Tuesday, May 14 at Denver Tennis Park.
The Colorado High School Activities Association has announced the 16-person brackets for the 3A, 4A and 5A girls tennis individual state championships.
