LITTLETON — Valor Christian’s girls basketball team continued its remarkable conference winning streak on Tuesday night, but it wasn’t easy.

In this week’s rankings, all six teams remained intact, while three new teams entered the top-10.

ARVADA — Ralston Valley senior Finley Timon delivered in the clutch on rivalry night at the Mustang Range.

DENVER — Macy Scheer was a beast on both ends of the court Wednesday night.

As she cut toward the basket at Wulf Rec Center, a 7 year old Jameson Mott’s eyes lit up. Her friend, Jessie Stiller, slipped the perfect pass to her, and two dribbles later, she went up for the layup. Deftly banked off the glass, the ball disappeared through the hoop. Two points! While her friends danced around and celebrated, Jameson barely knew what to do. This was her first basket of her lifetime after all!

ARVADA — Arvada West’s girls basketball team joined the elite group of double-digit win squads Monday night.

In this week’s rankings, Mead (5A) and Merino (2A) rose to the top of their respective classifictions.

ARVADA — A new year, but the same winning result for Arvada West’s girls basketball team Wednesday night.

ARVADA — Amy Bahl stepped way from coaching high school basketball after winning back-to-back Class 4A girls basketball state championships in 2017 and 2018 at Evergreen High School.

In this week’s rankings, Valor Christian (6A), George Washington (5A) and Burlington (2A) became to No. 1 teams.
