With the finalized state qualifiers and psych sheets for the 2024 girls swimming and diving state championships set to be released on Monday, there could be eight individual champions across the three classifications returning from last year’s championships. Combined, they won a total of 11 different events in 2023.
The Colorado High School Activities Association’s 2024 Girls Swim and Dive State Championships will run Feb. 6-10 at Veterans Memorial Aquatic Center(VMAC) in Thornton.
The 2022-23 all-state girls swimming teams are presented by CHSAANow.com, ColoradoPreps.com and MaxPreps.
THORNTON — The dynasty of Evergreen’s girls swim and dive team continued Saturday night at the Veterans Memorial Aquatics Center.
As the Class 3A diving state championships progressed, there were many moments when Laura Zupancic doubted her chances of rising to the top of the talented field competing.
The three-peat is complete.
THORNTON – With the defending 4A girls swim and dive champions moving up a classification, the 2023 team title was fully up for grabs.
Liberty’s Ashley Van Milligan finished just outside the top five in the Class 4A diving state competition last season and that inspired her to go for the gold as a senior in 2023.
