Regional softball: Here’s who qualified for the state tournament

Evergreen (4A), Valley (3A), Wiggins (2A) and Union Colony (2A) are all newcomers to this week’s volleyball rankings.
Eaglecrest, Valor Christian and Brush are the No. 1 seeds in the regional softball brackets, which were released on Monday morning.
No. 5 Lamar softball is riding a five game winning streak at the right time of the season, while Brush took care of University.
Five new teams joined the volleyball rankings this week: Windsor (4A), Centauri (3A), Coal Ridge (3A), Haxtun (2A) and Eads (1A).
Silver Creek (4A) and La Junta (3A) have joined their respective softball rankings this week.

No. 6 Highlands Ranch volleyball handed top-ranked Castle View its first in-state loss this season on Tuesday.
