GREENWOOD VILLAGE — No. 6 Cherry Creek beat Adams City 2-1 in Class 5A boys soccer on Wednesday.

Sam Hallam and J. Larson Hanlin scored for the Bruins, while Garrett Brown made 10 saves as goalkeeper.
