ARVADA — Ralston Valley outlasted Wheat Ridge in 12 innings on Wednesday with a 5-4 victory.
The Mustangs, ranked tenth in Class 5A, got a stellar pitching performance from Drake Davis, who allowed just one hit in eight innings. He struck out 12, and walked two.
Luke Leisenring homered for the Mustangs.
Wheat Ridge, No. 6 in 4A, got a home run from Jack Marvel.
