Girls Tennis Regional Championships Set to Start Wednesday
AURORA – High school girls tennis teams around the state of Colorado will compete in individual regional championships from Wednesday, April 30, through Saturday, May 3, as they seek the chance to qualify for the Colorado High School Activities Association’s 2025 Girls Tennis State Championships. Each of the three classes will have eight regionals with the top two players at Nos. 1, 2 and 3 singles as well as the top two teams at Nos. 1 through 4 doubles advancing to the individual state tournament.
Music: CHSAA Recognizes Cheyenne Mountain, Grandview, Cañon City as State Champions
COLORADO SPRINGS – The Colorado High School Activities Association recognized state champions in music for the first time this year, with a champion being crowned in A Cappella, Jazz and Show Choir during the CHSAA Festivals at Cheyenne Mountain High School Wednesday and Thursday.
Esports: Spring State Champions Crowned
LAKEWOOD – All three of the spring Esports State Championships were awarded Thursday at Localhost. The day started with the inaugural Unified Esports State Championship being awarded in Mario Kart, followed by the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe champions being crowned.
Girls Team Tennis: Quarterfinal Round Matchups Set
AURORA – The first round of the Colorado High School Activities Association’s 2025 Girls Tennis Team State Championships have been completed. The winning teams will advance to the quarterfinal round, which will be played at the home site of the higher seed on Friday.
Volleyball: Regional Tournament Brackets to be Seeded Wednesday
AURORA – The 2025 boys volleyball regional tournament brackets are due to be seeded and released on Wednesday by the Colorado State High School Activities Association (CHSAA) office.
