AURORA — The Horizon Hawks opened the 2025 flag football season impressively with a 24-14 victory over Cherry Creek, with Nevaeh Stukas passing for two touchdowns and Genia Harris and Madison Velotta each scoring twice. The Hawks defense also intercepted three passes and reigstered seven sacks including two each for Harris and Velotta.
AURORA – The 20-round Major League Baseball Draft has concluded and three of the players selected played for Colorado High School Activities Association member schools while in high school. All three played collegiately out of state at the Division I level.

AURORA – The finalized state qualifiers for the 2025 CHSAA Track & Field state championships have been released, and across the five classifications there are 52 former individual champions who are seeking a second title, or more, in 61 events. A total of 43 schools are represented by the returning individual champions.
