AURORA – The first two rounds of the Colorado High School Activities Association’s 2023 Fall Esports State Championships have been completed, and the final rounds will be played on Monday. Live updates for League of Legends and Rocket League can be found on PlayVs and the championship rounds will be streamed on Twitch.

Everything You Need To Know About Esports This Fall
The Colorado High School Activities Association’s second fall esports season officially kicked off today. Regular-season play will begin this week and run through Friday, Nov. 17 with playoffs beginning on Monday, Nov. 27. For the fall season, CHSAA crowns a state champion in both League of Legends and Rocket League. The state championship will be hosted at Localhost in Lakewood on Monday, Dec. 4.

Colorado Esports Coaches Clinic is a Huge Success
AURORA – The first-annual CHSAA Esports Coaches Season Kick-Off Clinic was held at the Aurora Expo Recreation Center Esports Lounge Friday, with over 50 coaches in attendance from across the state. The day-long event featured sessions on how to start and recruit an esports team, advanced coaching strategies and game specific strategies and techniques for Rocket League and League of Legends; the two fall championship games.

Rocky Mountain Caps Off Undefeated Season With Esports Championship in Mario Kart
LAKEWOOD, Colo. – The Rocky Mountain High School esports team capped off an undefeated season by becoming the first school to win a sanctioned Esports State Championship in Mario Kart Friday afternoon. The top-seeded RMHS Lobos Varsity team defeated No. 3 Pueblo West Mario Kart Varsity, 3-0, at Localhost.
Rocky Mountain Wins First Spring Esports Championship in Super Smash Bros.
LAKEWOOD, Colo. – The Rocky Mountain High School’s esports team No. 1 RMHS Lobos Varsity A made history Friday afternoon by becoming the first-ever spring Esports State Champions at Localhost. Rocky Mountain knocked off Grandview’s second-ranked Super Smash Wolves Black, 2-1, in the title game.
